Bruxism Causes

Presumably some of the causes, stress is the most common but also can be caused by a normal bite, chewing gum and a lot of crooked teeth.
Solutions
There is no single solution. The most common is to go to the dentist to make an accurate measurement mouthpiece to the patient. This is to prevent damage to the teeth and helps to eliminate the habit in many cases. Doctors also recommend to stop chewing gum and other foods that require much chewing.
If there is pain caused by teeth grinding can be used hot compresses (without burning) or pain pills.
If the cause is stress you should try to reduce this level. You can exercise, practice yoga, meditation or similar.
According to naturopaths poor diet can cause inflammation and contribute to teeth grinding. It is believed that bruxism is a state of mind-body and we should work on both.
When problems such as crooked teeth, the dentist can be fixed with braces or a similar but usually problems associated with stress.
