Know How Lindsay Rosenwald Hit Two Birds With One Stone
Having two different passions is a good thing, but having it mixed together can sometimes be, a very challenging task to accomplish. However, for Lindsay Rosenwald having two completely different interests fused together is the grandest thing he has ever achieved. Mr. Rosenwald is a widely recognized personality in the business and healthcare industry for many years, he has become the epitome of these two realms eliminating the stereotypical image of doctors who works as businessmen at the same time.
Like any other successful man today, Lindsay says that his journey to reaching to top of his career ladder all began when he was in college, when he had to choose which career path he is going to take, he immediately went for the business department. He took up a degree in Finance at the Pennsylvania State University in 1973, he immersed fully in the academics of how the whole system of corporate businesses are dealt and handled on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.
By the year 1977, Lindsay Rosenwald graduated with flying colors from the Penn State, however, even if he is already armed and ready to take on the real business world outside of his norms, his aspirations as being a doctor still bugs him every single day. His dilemma led him to finally decide to reach for his other goals, for that he enrolled at the Temple University to take up a degree on Medicine.
Even if he knew initially that studying the art of medicine will take him years and years to absorb everything, he was still very eager and excited to see what it has to offer him. After graduating from Temple, he was quickly interested in applying for internship at the Abington Medical Center; he got accepted and was able to devote to two and half years of private practice.
After years of servitude in Abington Medical Center, Lindsay Rosenwald then again decided once more to pursue something even huge. What has made him come to this decision is the fact that he strongly felt that his degree on business has seemed to have been put to waste. For that reason, he immediately went to Wall Street to get a job that offers both of his biggest passions, and since he is a very skilled and knowledgeable of the two departments, he became an exclusive Physician/Analyst at one of the largest investment firms in Wall Street.
