These days, children prefer to spend time on the computer go outside and kick a ball around or ride their bikes. And with all the junk food ads aimed at children by the media, we parents have our job cut out for us.

The bottom line is our lifestyle has changed. We do not walk as much as we used to. We eat per-packaged or fast foods instead of homemade food. What exercise can compete with video games?

Times have definitely changed, but that does not mean we have to give up completely. It’s just a matter of putting some simple measures in place.

Here are some easy tips to ensure their children develop a life-long healthy lifestyle.

1. Limit your children television, computer and video game time. This may not be easy at first, but be persistent. Suggest an activity they can do, or better yet go outside with them and join in. Children learn by example, so if you’re ready to go for a bike ride may just want to join you.

2. Get your children involved in family food shopping. Make a list of healthy foods everyone agrees on and highlight the health benefits of their children. You’ll be surprised how open to eating healthy your kids can be. You do not have to drastically cut the cakes and cookies altogether, but let each child choose one item to be enjoyed as a special treatment. This teaches children to learn about moderation and, yes, we can have cookies or chocolates are not as regular as staple foods.

3. Do not super size your kids. Take care of children to serve appropriate portions of food. Remember, if you are not completely satisfied simply can return for seconds. Also, teach them to eat slowly and take breaks between mouthfuls to allow the brain to register when complete.

4. Try to avoid any foods branded as “bad for you.” Rather than focus on teaching their children everything that can be enjoyed in moderation. This takes the pressure and gets rid of the diet mentality that you can set for themselves a life of yo-yo dieting.

5. Be more active! In short, children need more activity in their lives. The same goes for all of us, if we eat more calories than you’re using until they gain weight. It’s as simple as that. So get out there and have fun. Try not to use the word “exercise.” Want to be a life habit, not something that has to do.

6. Be a positive role model. Instead of focusing on changes to his only son, the change as a family. Having a family meeting and talk about healthy eating and good nutrition. Explain all the benefits of exercise and let your kids suggest some simple activities you can do together. Start slowly and build. If you set a good example for your children the time to follow.

Just remember any changes can be difficult at first and may initially have to put up with tears or temper tantrums, but may be persistent. The benefits of a healthy lifestyle far outweigh the difficulties they may face in getting there. Your children will thank you in the long run

Besides that as parents, siblings, and friends, children love toys May, gambling and food … maybe more. I know I did. Another thing I know from experience is that some forms of gambling and food are factors that can trigger an asthma attack.

Boy, is it sad that was said when I had my first attack as a kid I have to remain closed most of the time or could not eat my favorite foods, so you can identify with any child going through the same thing. But at this point, as an adult, I can empathize with any parent who has to raise a child with asthma.

Just how do you go about doing that?

Needless to say, sometimes what may be the best for our children is not so you may want simply because they do not quite understand. Now when it comes to setting high standards for children to prevent asthma attacks, can sometimes cause friction between father and son.

That considers try the following:

Sit down with the kid with a heart to heart talk with them about their health “challenge” and why special care has to be taken to not aggravate your symptoms.

You may have to be creative when explaining why they have a disease like asthma, first, however with the advice you provide, (God, I wish someone told my parents about this in my childhood …), you and your child may completely stop asthma problems.

First, change the child’s diet. This may require a little creativity here parents, because my suggestion of a natural diet for the treatment of asthma involves giving up all processed foods and animal products like meat, milk, eggs and the like from your diet clear and simple. These are the foods that form mucus and we all know what a physical characteristic of asthma symptoms are: mucus.

This is a fact that has been in effect in several programs aimed at correcting respiratory health such as “Support Program for asthmatic breath, prepared by the Russian Federation, Dr. Buteyko. Within weeks of adhering to his advice, a chronicle of many asthmatics has been able to renounce the use of Ventolin inhalers.

Replace these items with mucus binding or non-mucus forming foods. These are merely the fruits and vegetables. Make sure they are organic, if possible, or at least not in the list of the “dirty dozen”, i.e. the most contaminated with pesticides such as apples, Mexican cantaloupe, grapes, etc …

Trust me on this, I am talking from experience, that goes very well to keep the fruits in the list when it comes to asthma. However you will still be much better direction clear of foods labeled as a substance that form mucus before.

Furthermore, from my own experience, do not consume liquids with your meals at any time. This inhibits digestion by diluting the juices in your stomach necessary designated for that purpose. As a result, it hinders the much needed expansion of the membrane and, therefore, a constriction of the lungs-the bellows of life giving air that leads to the hissing sound any asthma patient is familiar with.

Now, for children, it is surprising that it can not be too hard, however, if necessary, we may firmly but with love have to put your foot and say they can not take these substances. Can you explain why, children hear. Furthermore, when children see you eat the same things that more than likely follow suit. This, in turn, of course, helps the entire family.

Besides the children love fruit, vegetables, now, that’s another thing is true, but there are fun ways you can incorporate vegetables into your child’s diet.

For example, you could juice a stalk of celery and add some fresh apple juice made by a juicer (if so inclined) can be mixed into a smoothie of bananas, dates and young coconuts … (Now this good taste!), OR you could just bake some sweet potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes with lightly salted and avocado (just make sure your unionized sea salt) is … work. Trust me, I have a sweet tooth and I know what good taste.

You can also try the salad with house dressing mixture just avocado, a dash of iodized salt and fresh tomatoes. These are all the ways I “surprise” vegetables in my diet.

Obviously, I’ve written a lot about diet in terms of asthma and their children. That’s because it’s arguably the most important factor. I’ll go over the rest in Part 2 of this article and is hoping that this will lay the groundwork for a successful asthma treatment regimen for children naturally.
