Prevention of Genital Prolapse Treatment
In young patients in early stages of the disease is recommended physiotherapy. In older women it is considered that menopause is the origin, local recommended estrogen, which can strengthen the muscles. The patient should stay at your ideal weight. The last step of treatment is surgery, which aims to strengthen the supporting structures, or possibly removing the uterus.

Prevention
The following measures can be useful.
* Birth spacing to allow time for muscle recovery
* Exercise regularly, mainly routines to strengthen pelvic muscles
* Avoid being overweight
* Try not to lift heavy objects

Complications

Alterations are usually no complications, except for the manifestations mentioned above.
In some patients present frequent infections of the urinary tract which can be serious if they spread to the kidneys (pyelonephritis).

It is a very common disorder in women who have vaginal deliveries presented. Genital prolapse refers to protrusion (output) of a pelvic organ: bladder (cystocele), uterus (úterocele) or rectum (rectocele), through the birth canal. This is due to weakening of supporting structures of the same, what makes fall one of these organs and the symptoms are present. It is also more common in menopause (removal of menstruation).

Causes
The factors that lead to this alteration may be many among the most common are: having vaginal deliveries, especially when these have been many, the injuries sustained by the mother during the same, having poor quality of the muscles and pelvic tissues, obesity and excessive weight lifting or surgery often in the pelvic area, among others. At menopause is due to the lability of the muscles caused by hormonal changes.
